The picture was taken by Sandra on 23 December, 2006. It was a beautiful day at the bank of Hsinchu, north of Taiwan. Hsinchu is also known as Fengcheng, which literally means "City of the Wind." The water behind me is the Taiwan Strait.
I like this picture because it looks like I am saying, "Hello!"
I was borne in Taipei on 16 February, 1982. I spent a good deal of my life in Bangkok, before returning to Taiwan to study Biochemical Science and Technology (previously Agricultural Chemistry) at National Taiwan University. I did my Master's in the field of Infection and Immunity at the University of Sydney.
I am a passionate person, even if the storm is rarely extravertive. I think of myself as open-minded, intuitive, and reflective, but you might wish to disagree or comment on that. I try to approach the answer via its allomorphic expressions, a simple list of which includes literature, music, scribbling, travelling ... but really just wandering about or getting lost, and finding various excuses to study the Force. I am also interested in languages. I use English and Mandarin on daily basis, and over the years I have picked up Taiwanese, Thai, and a little French. My latest pursuits are German and Perl.
This home page is my "HTMLXHTML semblance" on the Internet. As most of my time and energy will be directed elsewhere: e.g., my poems and projects, this home page will receive relatively little attention. I hope to have more interesting things to say in the future. Meanwhile, I have a blog or two like everyone else.
